Freedom Wars Remastered permet aux joueurs d'équiper deux armes de leur choix pour chaque opération. Avec six types d'armes distincts disponibles, les joueurs peuvent adapter leur personnage à n'importe quel style de jeu préféré. Le jeu propose trois types de pistolets et trois types de mêlée, chacun entièrement personnalisable. Voici une ventilation de chaque type d'arme et de ses caractéristiques uniques:

Types d'armes dans Freedom Wars Remastered

De nouvelles armes sont acquises en terminant des opérations ou en les achetant auprès de Zakka dans le Warren. Bien que les choix d'armes de camarade soient fixes, les joueurs ont une liberté totale en équipant leur accessoire d'une arme. La commutation d'armes n'est pas restreinte; Il n'y a aucun avantage ou pénalité pour des changements fréquents.

Weapon Type	Traits
Light Melee	Quick attacks ideal for fast-paced combat, effective against single targets. Can sever Abductor limbs without a Flare Knife.
Heavy Melee	Wide-sweeping attacks delivering high damage. Well-placed attacks can hit multiple Abductor limbs for multiplied damage. Charged attacks launch the player into the air. Slightly reduces movement speed.
Polearm	Attacks involve charging through enemies, providing mobility and evasion. Charged attacks launch the polearm for significant damage from a distance.
Assault Weapons	High ammo capacity, perfect as a primary weapon for gun-focused builds. Can be fired while grappled with the Thorne for strategic advantages.
Portable Artillery	High single-shot damage but low ammo capacity. Explosive area-of-effect shots can hit multiple limbs for increased damage. Reduces movement speed.
Autocannons	High rate of fire with substantial ammo capacity and magazine size. Individual shots have lower damage, compensated by the rapid firing rate. Reduces movement speed.

Contrairement au personnage du joueur, les accessoires ne consomment pas de munitions lors de l'utilisation d'armes à canon.
