Assassin's Creed Shadows Delayed to March 20, 2025

Ubisoft has announced another delay for the highly anticipated Assassin's Creed Shadows, pushing the release date back to March 20, 2025. Initially slated for a February 14th release, this marks a five-week postponement from the previously announced date. The publisher cites the need for further refinement and polishing based on player feedback as the reason for the delay.

The game's development has faced setbacks. A previous delay, announced in September 2024, shifted the launch from November 15th to February 14th. While the initial delay was attributed to unspecified development challenges, Ubisoft now clarifies that this latest postponement directly addresses fan feedback. Marc-Alexis Coté, the game's vice president executive producer, emphasized Ubisoft's commitment to delivering a high-quality experience through ongoing player interaction. Both delays, however, share the common goal of providing additional time for development team to refine and polish the game.
