The Guardians of the Road project has been revitalized with a new application designed to offer a more seamless and enhanced user experience. By joining the Road Guard project, you can play a crucial role in saving lives on the road.

Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road - the road of all of us" initiative aims to boost awareness and foster safer driving habits among motorists. Since January 1, 2023, the project has been managed by the "Safe Path" association, dedicated to improving road safety.

If you're over 18, you can easily participate by downloading the "Road Guards" app. This innovative tool allows you to document traffic violations effortlessly. Simply activate the app before you start driving, and when you witness a violation, engage the reporting feature. You have two convenient options for reporting: a voice command or a simple press of the Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then automatically record and log the details of the offense.

These recordings are sent to a control center staffed by experienced volunteer traffic controllers. Following review, a "letter on the way" is dispatched to the offending driver, including a link to a video of the documented violation. In situations involving life-threatening offenses, the report is escalated to the police for further action.
