The nominations were announced by Rachel Sennott and Bowen Yang during a live event on the Oscars YouTube channel on January 23. Jacques Audiard's Spanish crime thriller, Emilia Pérez, has been recognized in key categories such as Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Lead Actress, with Karla Sofía Gascón being nominated for the latter.

Following closely, Wicked and The Brutalist each secured 10 nominations, while Conclave and A Complete Unknown each received eight nods.
