These formidable Pokémon come with brand-new Adventure Effects that can significantly enhance your gameplay outside of battle. To make the most out of the event, don't forget to utilize the Tour Pass, which can amplify your earnings and boost your overall experience.

Black Kyurem's Freeze Shock ability envelops the area in electrically charged ice for 10 minutes, immobilizing wild Pokémon and making them much easier to catch. On the other hand, White Kyurem's Ice Burn slows down the target ring during encounters, making it simpler to achieve those coveted Excellent Throws. Both effects can be extended in 10-minute increments, up to a maximum of two hours at a time, and can last a total of 24 hours.

To encounter these legendary Pokémon, you'll need to participate in five-star raids during the event, where you can collect Fusion Energy. Once you've fused either Zekrom or Reshiram with a Kyurem that knows Glaciate, you'll unlock either Freeze Shock or Ice Burn, replacing Glaciate. Remember, these moves will revert to Glaciate if the Pokémon are separated. It's also worth noting that Kyurem cannot currently learn these moves through Charged TM or Elite Charged TM.

During the event, you'll have the choice between two event badges: the Black Version, featuring Reshiram, or the White Version, featuring Zekrom. Choosing the Black Version means encountering Kyurem that knows Glaciate after defeating Black Kyurem, along with receiving Reshiram-themed Special Research rewards. Opting for the White Version will grant you Zekrom-themed Special Research rewards and encounters with Kyurem that also knows Glaciate after defeating White Kyurem.

For better progression, leverage the Tour Pass, which unlocks various rewards and enhances your Adventure Effects. You can accumulate Tour Points by catching Pokémon, completing raids, and hatching Eggs. Alternatively, speed up your progress with quick Pass Tasks. Reaching Major Milestones not only boosts your Catch XP but also extends the duration of Freeze Shock or Ice Burn.
