Understanding Legacy XP Tokens in Black Ops 6

Following the Season 01 update to Black Ops 6 and Warzone, many players discovered a surplus of previously unseen XP tokens. These were quickly used to boost XP, Weapon XP, and Battle Pass progress. However, a November 15th update addressed this, disabling the activation of Legacy XP tokens directly within the Black Ops 6 UI, as noted in the Call of Duty Blog.

These Legacy XP Tokens are unused tokens carried over from previous CoD titles accessible through the COD HQ app, such as Modern Warfare II, Modern Warfare III, or Warzone. These games offered various ways to earn XP tokens, including DMZ Missions, Battle Pass Tiers, and promotions with brands like Little Caesar's and Monster Energy. Any tokens earned in these games remain available for use in Warzone. Here's how to use them in Black Ops 6.

Using Warzone XP Tokens in Black Ops 6

Initially, players could activate their Warzone Legacy XP Tokens directly within Black Ops 6. This is no longer directly possible due to the update. However, a workaround existed, allowing players to leverage these tokens to accelerate XP, Weapon XP, and Battle Pass progression in Black Ops 6.

This method involved activating the Legacy XP Tokens in Warzone. After activation, the token and its timer would then appear in the Black Ops 6 UI. While requiring switching between games, this workaround provided a faster path to leveling up in Black Ops 6. Remember that XP Tokens have a real-time countdown.
