Indie developer Theo Clarke's new game, Plantoons, transforms your backyard into a vibrant battle arena. Drawing inspiration from Plants vs. Zombies, Plantoons offers a unique twist on tower defense gameplay.

The Plantoons Gameplay Experience

In Plantoons, your garden becomes a gladiator-style battlefield where plants wage war against relentless waves of weeds. Unlike static plant placements, you'll strategically level up and enhance your plant warriors to withstand increasingly aggressive weed invasions. The game begins by selecting a plant from your arsenal and deploying it on the battlefield to defend against escalating weed attacks. Hopefully, these weeds are less menacing than their zombie counterparts!

Progressing through Plantoons rewards you with cards that boost your plant army. These upgrades enhance attack power, strengthen defenses, or increase pollen production. Strategic plant placement within the meadow is key to building an effective defensive line.

Each plant possesses unique abilities and stats. Completing challenges expands your deck in the Card Bank, allowing for customized and enhanced setups.
