Allah says in the Quran:

"And establish prayer for My remembrance" (20:14),

"Successful indeed are the believers, who are humble in their prayers" (23:1-2),

"...and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater..." (29:45)

From these verses, we understand that prayer reminds us of Allah, makes us humble, and prevents us from immorality and wrongdoing. However, the reality is often different. While standing in prayer, our minds wander to business, jobs, farming, family issues, and daily life matters. How humble are we before the Almighty, the Most Honored, and the Most Dignified Allah? Millions of Muslims perform their five daily prayers, yet many engage in acts considered immoral or unjust in Islam shortly afterward, such as consuming interest, lying, cursing, or backbiting. Why does this happen?

The reason is that we don't know what we are reciting during prayer, in Quran recitation, in prostration, bowing, and sitting. In such a state, prayer becomes just a ritual that we perform without understanding. Is this the example of an educated nation? It's essential to know today what you are reciting in prayer.

"Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward similar to that of those who follow him, without their reward being diminished in any way." [Sahih Muslim: 2678]
