Introducing the Carplounge Autopilot, an innovative solution that transforms your BaitBoat experience using an Android tablet or smartphone. Available for free on the Google Play Store, the Carplounge Autopilot app is designed for seamless compatibility with any Android device equipped with Bluetooth. This app connects your device to the boat via a transmitter box, enabling you to control the boat entirely through the touch screen of your tablet or phone.

In manual mode, the BaitBoat functions similarly to a standard model, allowing you to navigate effortlessly using the touchscreen. Real-time updates display the boat's position, route, and orientation, complete with a compass function. Moreover, you can use the integrated GPS to save and label promising fishing spots, such as "jetty left," "spot 1," or "home," which can be identified with the help of the echo sounder.

Switch to autopilot mode, and you'll be able to select these saved points to create customized routes with specific actions. For example, you could program the boat to:

1. Drive to the "Sandbank" position and open the right hatch upon arrival.
2. Proceed to "Spot 2" and open the left hatch there.
3. Return to the fishing place and flash the lights once.

Once programmed, the boat can autonomously follow the route you've set, with the capability to store an almost limitless number of spots and routes. Thanks to advanced sensors for position and acceleration, along with the latest GPS and compass technology, the boat can navigate with remarkable precision, achieving 90% accuracy within 30cm.

The Carplounge Autopilot also addresses the challenge of line tensioning while the boat is in motion, particularly when deploying two rods to different locations simultaneously. The boat's built-in electronics detect any tension in the lines and adjust the steering to counteract it, ensuring the boat remains on a direct course to its target without unnecessary deviations.

The Carplounge Autopilot serves as a replacement for the traditional BaitBoat remote control. However, we offer the flexibility to use a remote control alongside the autopilot. This means you can choose between controlling the boat via your tablet or the remote control. Our app is currently optimized for 10-inch Android tablets, allowing direct steering via the touchscreen.
