TEST 1 (NORMAL COMMUNICATION): This test involves performing a regular speed communication to check the basic functionality of your setup.

TEST 2 (FAST COMMUNICATION): This test requires the fastest allowed type of communication, which is only supported by certain vehicle OBD-II protocols. It helps to assess the maximum performance capability of your system.

¹ Note that the ISO 15765-4 CAN protocol is the only OBD-II protocol capable of delivering up to 140 parameters per second, provided your OBD-II adapter is equipped with a high-quality chip. Older OBD-II protocols might only manage 4 parameters per second in the worst-case scenario.
