Securely record and verify video authenticity using blockchain technology with Clapperboard. This application allows video recording from diverse sources (CCTV, webcams, action cameras, drone cameras, etc.) and provides irrefutable proof of authenticity and origin.
First, create a Clapperboard account and add funds to your balance.
To generate an authentic video:
- Add a comment to your video.
- Request a QR code.
- Display the QR code visibly within the camera's frame during recording.
The generated QR code and your comment are permanently recorded on the NEM blockchain. The video is then saved from your chosen camera.
To further verify the video's integrity and confirm it was created after QR code generation, upload a fragment of the video (including the QR code) to http://product.prover.io/. Upon successful verification, you receive a Certificate of Authenticity containing video details.
