This app simplifies catch record submission for all English and Welsh vessels under 10 meters (U10m) fishing in UK waters. All U10m vessels must record their catches; this data supports sustainable fishing management by UK authorities.
Eligible users include registered vessel owners and skippers. Registered owners will receive an invitation email (timing depends on vessel size) with a one-month registration deadline. Skippers should contact their vessel's owner for an invitation. Producer organization members leasing quota should continue using paper logbooks.
This service replaces the NEP1 and MSAR1 forms. Note: Local IFCAs may require additional information depending on location. It also eliminates the logbook requirement for leased fish quota and fishing in multiple ICES areas (currently IV4/VIId and VIId/VIIe).
