2 月 7 日より、Blizzard Entertainment はオーストラリアとニュージーランドのプレイヤーに対する World of Warcraft のすべてのゲーム内トランザクションのコストを値上げします。この価格調整は世界的および地域的な市場変動に起因しており、サブスクリプションやゲーム内購入などのさまざまなサービスに影響を与えます。
米国における World of Warcraft のサブスクリプション価格は 2004 年以来 14.99 ドルで変わっていませんが、オーストラリアとニュージーランドのプレーヤーは値上げされることになります。 2 月 6 日の時点で有効な定期サブスクリプションをお持ちの場合は、6 か月の猶予期間中は現在の料金が維持されます。
新しい価格体系では、月額サブスクリプションは 23.95 オーストラリアドルと 26.99 ニュージーランドドルに引き上げられ、年間サブスクリプションは 249.00 オーストラリアドルと 280.68 ニュージーランドドルに達します。 WoWトークンの価格は32.00オーストラリアドルと36.00ニュージーランドドルです。 他のゲーム内サービスも値上げされます (下の表を参照)。
