Marmalade Game Studio has unveiled the 2016 Suspects Pack for the digital adaptation of Clue/Cluedo. Dedicated fans of this murder-mystery classic will be thrilled to revisit beloved characters from this era.

Meet the Returning Suspects

The pack features six iconic characters: Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard, Reverend Green, Professor Plum, Dr. Orchid, and Mrs. Peacock. These classic suspects operate independently of specific crime scenarios, allowing players to incorporate them into any mystery scenario.

Players can now relive nostalgia by selecting their favorite classic suspect or creatively mixing them with the newer 2023 cast. The community's passionate requests for these characters—particularly after some players found the 2023 lineup too contemporary—have finally been answered.

A Nostalgic Game Mode Arrives

Accompanying the suspect pack is the free Retro Rules Set mode, transporting players back to the original 1949 gameplay mechanics. This feature introduces several vintage rules that reshape strategy:

• Tokens begin at designated starting positions
• Miss Scarlet always takes the first turn (unless absent)
• Room entry becomes mandatory for accusations
• Clue Cards disappear entirely
• Movement becomes restricted when paths are blocked
