Among Us 3D: A First-Person Perspective Reimagining of the Classic Game

Innersloth, the creators of the wildly popular Among Us, are launching a new dimension to the game with Among Us 3D. Building on the success of their VR adaptation, Among Us 3D delivers the core gameplay in a fully immersive first-person experience, playable without a VR headset.

This new iteration retains the beloved mechanics of the original, re-engineered for standard gaming setups. A recently released teaser trailer showcases the revamped tasks, meetings, and sabotage sequences as seen from the player's perspective. Gamers will have a chance to experience this firsthand during Steam's upcoming "Game On" festival, where a free demo will be available.

While a precise release date remains unconfirmed, Among Us 3D will initially launch on PC, optimized for keyboard and mouse control. A redesigned interface aims to improve accessibility, and cross-play functionality will connect Among Us 3D players with those on Among Us VR. It's important to note that the original Among Us will remain a separate entity.

Innersloth is also adding a new in-game currency, Stardust, in the coming months. This will enhance customization options, allowing players more ways to personalize their characters and further engage with the game's ongoing development.
