Adding Friends in Marvel Rivals
It's important to note that *Marvel Rivals* currently does not support cross-progression or cross-play, meaning you can't add friends from different platforms. However, the developers have announced that these features will be added in the future, so stay tuned for updates.
To start adding friends, launch the game and locate the add friends icon in the top corner near your player profile. Clicking on this will display a list of players you've recently played with, allowing you to add them to your friends list by simply clicking on their names.
Another method is to use the search bar. Type in a username, press Enter, and you can send a friend request from there. Once your friend accepts the request, they will appear in your friends list.
How to Play With Friends
With your friends list in *Marvel Rivals* now filled, you're ready to team up and play matches together.
To invite a friend to play, click on the friends list icon located in the top right corner of the screen. Find the friend you want to play with, select their username, and send them an invitation to join your game. Once they accept, you can queue up for quick play or competitive matches and enjoy the game together.
If you're playing on a console, any friends you've added at the system level will automatically appear in your *Marvel Rivals* friends list, making it even easier to invite and play with them.
That's all you need to know about adding friends and playing with them in *Marvel Rivals*. For more tips and information on the game, be sure to check out The Escapist.
