The major update for Aether Gazer, titled ‘Echoes on the Way Back,’ has arrived, bringing with it a wealth of new content and exciting features. This update introduces Chapter 19 Part II of the main story, which is complemented by a side story titled The Ibis and the Moon – Moonwatcher, subtitled ‘New words on a new page. The gears of destiny begin to turn fitfully.’ This narrative expansion promises to deepen the lore and engage players with fresh plot developments.

A highlight of the update is the introduction of the S-Grade Modifier, Dimglare – Verthandi. This light-attribute melee Modifier offers three distinct combat styles, allowing players to customize her playstyle according to their preferences. Whether you prefer to block and counterattack, boost offensive stats for burst damage, or focus on rapid-fire skills for sustained DPS, Verthandi can adapt to your strategy. Her backstory, revealed through hyperspace experiments, adds depth to her character, showcasing her resilience and determination to protect others.

The ‘Echoes on the Way Back’ update also introduces new Ultimate Skillchain Mechanics, featuring combos like Light the Path: Phantasmal Dawn (Hera & Verthandi) and Thunder in the Hills: Roaring Thunder (Thor & Shu). Alongside these, a new Sigil, Cycle of Time, is available, offering ATK boosts, Mod Index Multiplier increases, and Crit DMG buffs when equipped in a 3-set configuration with a 200% multiplier. To enhance Verthandi’s damage efficiency, players can also acquire the new 5-star Functor, Elf – Geironul.
