Studio Will be at Gamescom this Year

Radical Fish Games, the creators behind the beloved action RPG CrossCode, have officially introduced their next title, Alabaster Dawn. Formerly known as "Project Terra," this game was recently spotlighted on the developer's website. Alabaster Dawn is scheduled to hit Steam Early Access in late 2025, and eager fans can now wishlist it on Steam.

The studio has also teased the release of a public demo for Alabaster Dawn in the near future, setting the stage for its Early Access launch towards the end of 2025.

For those planning to attend Gamescom this year, you're in luck! Radical Fish Games will be there, offering a select few the chance to get hands-on with Alabaster Dawn. While play spots are limited, the team promises to be at their booth from Wednesday to Friday for discussions and meet-and-greets.

Alabaster Dawn's Combat Inspired by DMC and KH

Set in the ravaged world of Tiran Sol, Alabaster Dawn follows the journey of Juno, the Outcast Chosen, on a mission to revive the remnants of humanity and break the curse of the goddess Nyx, who has left the world in ruins.

Players can expect a robust experience with approximately 30-60 hours of gameplay spread across seven diverse regions. The game focuses not only on exploration but also on rebuilding settlements and establishing trade routes. The fast-paced combat system draws inspiration from iconic titles like Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and the studio's own CrossCode, offering eight unique weapons, each with its own skill tree. Additional gameplay mechanics include parkour, puzzles, enchantments, and cooking.

Radical Fish Games proudly announced that they have achieved a significant milestone, with the first 1-2 hours of Alabaster Dawn being nearly fully playable at its current stage of development. "It may not sound like much, but reaching this point is a big milestone for us," the developers shared, highlighting their dedication to delivering a polished gaming experience.
