Enhanced Accessibility and Quality of Life
Remedy Entertainment expressed their gratitude to the Alan Wake 2 community, marking the game's near one-year anniversary with a substantial free update. This update, launching concurrently with The Lake House expansion, significantly expands accessibility options. New features include infinite ammo and one-hit kill modes. Further enhancements include horizontal axis inversion and improved DualSense functionality on PS5, adding haptic feedback for healing items and throwables.
Responding to player feedback, the Anniversary Update also incorporates numerous quality-of-life improvements. Remedy highlights their continued work on the game post-launch, encompassing development of the Night Springs and Lake House expansions, as well as the incorporation of community suggestions. These improvements are bundled into this Anniversary Update.
