Arknights: Endfield January Beta Test: Expanded Gameplay and New Features

Get ready for the next Arknights: Endfield beta test, launching mid-January 2025! This new phase builds upon previous iterations, delivering significant gameplay enhancements and exciting new content. As reported by Niche Gamer on December 25th, 2024, the beta will feature:

• Expanded Roster: Fifteen playable characters, including two Endministrators, will be available, all boasting updated models, animations, and special effects.
• Enhanced Combat: Experience refined combat mechanics based on player feedback. New combo skills and a dodge mechanic add depth and strategic possibilities. Item usage and character progression systems have also been tweaked for a more rewarding gameplay loop.
• Revamped Base Building: The base building system gets a significant overhaul with new defensive structures, expanded factory construction via outposts, and improved tutorial levels.
• New Content: Explore reworked storylines, brand-new maps, and challenging puzzles. The beta will offer a richer and more engaging experience overall.
• Language Options: Choose between Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and English voiceovers and text.

Registration for the beta opened December 14th, 2024. While the application deadline and beta start date remain unannounced, selected participants will receive an email notification including installation instructions.

Arknights: Endfield Content Creator Program Vol. 1

Concurrently, Arknights: Endfield launched its Content Creator Program Vol. 1 (December 15th – 29th, 2024). This program offers selected creators access to an exclusive community, various perks, and special events. Applicants can apply under two categories: Gameplay Insights (reviews, lore discussions, streams, etc.) and Fan Creations (memes, fanart, cosplay, etc.). While requirements are similar across categories (original content, account ownership, link to past work), selection isn't guaranteed.
