Previously, Dumont compared Shadows to earlier titles like Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla. However, given the varied lengths of these games, this comparison was less informative. Recognizing the challenge of measuring open-world experiences, Dumont clarified that Shadows aligns more closely with the scope of Origins.
