　⚫︎　After Astro Bot’s Game of the Year win in 2024, Team Asobi studio head Nicolas Doucet made headlines following a panel at the Game Developers Conference. Discussing the game's development, Doucet highlighted the importance of building focused, completable experiences in an industry often obsessed with scale.

“From the beginning, we believed it's perfectly fine to make a compact game,” Doucet stated. He explained that a smaller scope empowered the team to retain clear creative direction while offering a game players could realistically finish—a compelling argument in today's age of overflowing game libraries.

　⚫︎　A new Astro Bot update brings a level called Hard to Bear, containing a nod to The Order: 1886. This level is part of the ongoing Vicious Void Galaxy DLC, which includes five free weekly levels launched throughout February and March. The last level is set to arrive in mid-March.

　⚫︎　Team Asobi has revealed five new Astro Bot levels, starting today with the Vicious Void Galaxy. These free updates will be released weekly, each Thursday up until March 13. Every level steps up the challenge, includes a unique Special Bot to save, and lets players replay in Time Attack mode with online leaderboards.

　⚫︎　Former Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aimé recently shared his praise for Astro Bot, which claimed Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2024.
