Larian Studios recently unveiled a 52-second cinematic teaser on Twitter (X), showcasing a new evil ending for Patch 7. The focus is on the Dark Urge, hinting at the horrifying outcomes of embracing pure evil.

The preview depicts the grim fates of the Dark Urge's companions as they witness their leader succumb to their father's influence, seizing control of the Netherbrain. The scene foreshadows a reign of terror under Bhaal, with the companions becoming the first victims.

The Dark Urge uses mind control to force their companions to their deaths. A chilling voiceover declares, "Time for the final act. Your tragedy has become mankind's," before the Dark Urge suffers a similar fate.

This is just one of several new evil endings arriving in Patch 7. Larian's April community update promised "improved evil endings...for even darker conclusions to your most sinister playthroughs." The best part? These endings aren't exclusive to Dark Urge characters.

Previously teased endings included the Dark Urge wading through a sea of blood and corpses, and a town consumed by "sheer mindless bliss" at the hands of the True Absolute.

Patch 7 is a massive update, brimming with new content and improvements. In addition to the terrifying new endings, expect a dynamic split-screen mode for co-op play, enhanced Honour Mode challenges, and a highly anticipated modding toolkit.
