After months of speculation and leaks, it appears that Bethesda is on the brink of officially announcing the much-anticipated remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The announcement is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 am EST, and fans can catch the reveal on both YouTube and Twitch.

In a recent tweet, Bethesda teased the announcement with a striking image featuring a prominent "IV" against a backdrop that closely resembles iconic artwork from Oblivion, hinting strongly at what's to come.

Rumors of an Oblivion remake have circulated for years, gaining momentum with recent leaks. The first indication came from a leaked Bethesda release schedule in 2020, part of the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, which mentioned an Oblivion remaster slated for fiscal year 2022. Although the timeline had passed, suggesting the project might have been canceled, fresh leaks in January of this year suggested otherwise. These leaks described a full-scale remake developed by Bethesda with assistance from Virtuos.
