Bethesda Releases Surprise Update for Starfield Amid Oblivion Remaster Hype

While anticipation builds for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, Bethesda has delivered an unexpected patch for Starfield. This update introduces 'Very Low' display settings to enhance performance, expands support for Creations (mods), and addresses issues with quests, vehicles, UI, and the Shattered Space DLC.

Currently available in Steam beta, PC players can opt in to test these changes. Bethesda is actively seeking user feedback and has published comprehensive patch notes (see below).

PS5 Release Speculation

Speculation about a PlayStation 5 version intensified in March when fans spotted a PS logo on Bethesda's Creations website. Though Bethesda removed the related ship decals Creation, the incident fueled rumors about the Xbox exclusive potentially expanding to Sony's platform.

With attention currently focused on Oblivion Remastered, Starfield players hope for major announcements during Microsoft's June 8 Xbox Games Showcase.
