Blasphemous Now Live on Android
Blasphemous, the challenging 2D platformer drawing inspiration from religious iconography and Spanish folklore, is now available on Android! This mobile release includes all DLC, gamepad support, and a completely redesigned user interface. An iOS release is planned for late February 2025.
The game's gothic atmosphere, intense combat, and unforgiving difficulty are hallmarks of its design. Players take on the role of The Penitent One, a warrior battling a malevolent curse known as The Miracle that plagues the island of Cvstodia. Expect brutal encounters with monstrous creatures born from a twisted blend of religious imagery and Spanish mythology.
Blasphemous' mobile version features a revamped UI and intuitive touch controls, along with Bluetooth gamepad compatibility for those who prefer a controller. All DLC is included in this release.
While an iOS release is still pending, the positive reception from both gamers and critics suggests it will be worth the wait. Mobile platformers can be tricky due to the limitations of touchscreens, but Blasphemous aims to overcome these challenges.
