In an interview with GamesRadar, Creative Director Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz clarified the studio's ambition. Despite being a smaller team launching their first game, they're targeting AAA quality, specifically referencing The Witcher 3's benchmark. While acknowledging the game's smaller scope compared to major AAA titles, Tomaszkiewicz emphasized a commitment to robust quality.

The team, comprised of veterans from The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, formed Rebel Wolves to pursue greater creative freedom. The resulting game, The Blood of Dawnwalker, is projected to offer a 30-40 hour main campaign. Tomaszkiewicz argues that playtime isn't the sole determinant of AAA status, citing examples like Call of Duty.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is a narrative-driven, open-world dark fantasy RPG set in Vale Sangora. Players embody Coen, a peasant imbued with vampiric powers, embarking on a quest to save his sister while navigating the dangers of this mystical land.

Currently, there's no confirmed release date, but the game is planned for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with a gameplay reveal anticipated in Summer 2025.
