The mobile RPG Boomerang RPG: Watch Out Dude, which surpassed 1 million downloads shortly after its March release, is celebrating with a crossover event featuring the popular South Korean webcomic The Sound of Your Heart.

The Sound of Your Heart, created by Jo Seok and running from 2006 to 2020 on Naver Webtoon, boasts over 7 billion views and a Netflix adaptation. This comedic series follows Jo Seok's misadventures and his eccentric family.

The Crossover Characters:

This collaboration brings The Sound of Your Heart's memorable characters to Boomerang RPG. Players can team up with Jo Seok, his formidable wife Aebong (who's not afraid to dish out some punishment!), his lovable father-in-law Jjaeddanyo, and Buuk Suh, Jo Seok's friend who literally sheds petals when injured.

The event challenges players to rescue Aebong, Jjaeddanyo, and Buuk Suh from a dungeon. Completing this task adds them to the player's team. However, beware! Aebong's evil alter-ego, Dark Aebong, awaits as the final boss, unleashing hilarious attacks straight from the comic.

The crossover characters are free to obtain through a 21-day attendance event. Limited-edition boomerangs, including a drumstick, golf club, hairdryer, and stylus, are also available. A Token Event allows players to collect food-themed tokens (kimchi, tomatoes, noodles, chicken) to exchange for special magic effects and legendary boomerangs.
