Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile action RPG featuring a unique blend of Disney and Pixar characters, is shutting down. Kabam, the developer, announced the End of Service (EOS) date as December 16th, 2024.

The game is already unavailable on the Google Play Store, and all in-app purchases have been disabled. Players have approximately three months remaining to enjoy the game before the servers are permanently closed.

Launched in June 2022, Disney Mirrorverse offered a compelling action RPG experience with reimagined Disney and Pixar heroes. While initially met with enthusiasm, the extended beta period and infrequent content updates contributed to player attrition.

The game's challenging shard collection system, requiring significant time or in-game purchases to fully develop characters, also hampered its long-term success. Despite these drawbacks, the game's creative character designs and high-quality graphics were widely praised.

The EOS announcement is particularly surprising, given that Kabam recently released new story content and introduced Cinderella as a playable character just a week prior. This abrupt closure follows a pattern for Kabam, who previously shut down Transformers: Forged to Fight and a Marvel Contest of Champions spin-off without much warning.
