A delightful new game, Cato: Buttered Cat, is poised for an Android release. The name itself is a clever blend of "cat" and "toast," perfectly reflecting the game's quirky premise. Ever wondered what happens when you attach buttered toast to a cat's back? The developers at Team Woll did, and the result is a perpetually spinning feline in a gravity-defying spectacle!

Initially conceived for the 2022 BOOOM Gamejam, Cato: Buttered Cat garnered such positive response that it's now a full-fledged game. Currently available on Steam for PC, an Android version is on its way. While the Google Play Store listing isn't yet live, pre-registration is open on the official TapTap page.

This puzzle platformer challenges players to control both a cat and a slice of buttered toast. The duo collaborates to solve puzzles, overcome enemies, and explore five whimsical worlds brimming with quirky contraptions. A total of 200 levels, including side quests, and 30 unique outfits await. The narrative unfolds gradually, with story fragments scattered throughout the levels.

The gameplay mechanics cleverly utilize the distinct properties of cat and toast. The cat exhibits typical feline agility, while the toast serves as a projectile, launching to help the cat reach otherwise inaccessible areas. Hidden rooms and Easter eggs add an extra layer of exploration.
