Call of Duty: Warzone Glitch Allows Players to Equip Old Camos on Black Ops 6 Weapons
A newly discovered Warzone glitch allows players to apply Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) camos to Black Ops 6 (BO6) weapons. This workaround, detailed by BSPGamin on Twitter and highlighted by Dexerto, is currently exploitable but unofficial, meaning it's subject to removal in future updates.
The glitch requires a second player and involves specific steps within a private Warzone match. The process involves equipping a BO6 weapon, then an MW3 weapon, spamming the camo selection while the host switches to a private match. The friend then leaves and rejoins the match, repeating the camo selection spam. Successfully completing these steps should apply the MW3 camo to the BO6 weapon.
This workaround addresses a common player frustration. While MW3 weapons remain accessible in Warzone, many meta weapons originate from BO6. This means players who've invested time earning MW3 mastery camos (gold, diamond, dark matter) find them largely unused in Warzone's BO6-dominated meta.
For those focused on BO6 mastery camos, Treyarch has confirmed the addition of an in-game challenge tracking feature, similar to that in MW3, in a future update. This should streamline the process of unlocking BO6's coveted camos.
