Using Flash Pods

Despite its size, Doshaguma is incredibly agile, making it a challenging target, especially for melee users. Flash Pods provide a temporary stun, blinding the monster for several seconds, creating an opening for attacks or even mounting.

Targeting the Legs

Prioritize attacking Doshaguma's forelegs (3-star weakness) for optimal damage. While the hind legs have a 2-star weakness, they're less effective targets. The head (3-star weakness) is another excellent choice. Targeting the tail, though less damaging, allows for breakage and additional monster parts.

Exploiting Elemental Weaknesses

Fire and lightning are the most effective elements against Doshaguma. Bowgun users should utilize Flaming and Thunder ammo. Equipping fire-enhancing decorations further amplifies damage. Focus fire attacks on the head and torso, and lightning attacks on the head.

Blastblight Awareness

Doshaguma inflicts Blastblight, causing explosions if the gauge fills or upon taking a heavy attack. Nulberries or Deodorant provide a cure. Alternatively, three consecutive dodge rolls can remove the effect.

Strategic Trap Usage

While direct combat is effective, utilizing environmental traps enhances your strategy. Remember to sheathe your weapon before using your slinger and ensure the monster is directly above the trap before activating it.

Capturing Doshaguma

To capture Doshaguma, reduce its HP to 20% or less. Place a Shock or Pitfall Trap, then lure the monster into it using Luring Ammo or meat bait if necessary. Once trapped, repeatedly use tranquilizer ammo until it faints.
