Sony Pictures has unveiled the much-anticipated release date for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, set to hit US theaters on October 29, 2025. This exciting announcement was made during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where it was revealed that the studio has secured worldwide theatrical distribution rights, excluding Japan. Fans across the US can mark their calendars for a thrilling late October premiere, while over 80 other countries will witness the film's debut on September 24, 2025. In Japan, Toho will manage the film's release starting September 19, 2025.

The Chainsaw Man movie was announced in December 2023 and serves as a direct sequel to the MAPPA-produced anime that debuted in 2022. It continues the story of Denji, a young protagonist who, after forming a pact with the Chainsaw Devil named Pochita, gains the ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws. This power not only gives him a new lease on life but also sets him on a path to becoming more than just a Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will introduce fans to Reze, a significant character from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and written by Hiroshi Seko, the film will see the return of the entire voice cast from the anime series, ensuring continuity and familiarity for fans.
