Adjusting your Palico's Language in Monster Hunter Wilds

Nothing's more unsettling than a house cat speaking human languages, right? Fortunately, you can easily change your Palico's vocalizations in Monster Hunter Wilds. Here's how:

There are two methods to alter your Palico's language: via in-game settings or the character creator.

Method 1: Game Settings

1. Access the in-game menu by pressing the Options button.
2. Navigate to "Game Settings," then select the "Audio" tab.
3. Locate the "Palico Language" option.
4. Choose between "Felyne Language" (meows and purrs; subtitles required) or "Set Voice Type" (your game's language).

Method 2: Character Creator

1. Access your tent and open the character creator menu.
2. While customizing your Palico's appearance, you can also select its language preference. You can also adjust its voice pitch and tone here.

Gameplay remains unaffected by this choice. "Felyne Language" offers a more immersive, albeit potentially less convenient, experience due to the need for subtitle reading. "Set Voice Type" provides ease of understanding, especially during combat. The decision is entirely up to your preference.
