Spilled! lands on mobile after earning strong praise and a loyal following on PC. Developed by solo indie Dutch creator Lente under the Sound Games banner, work on the game began in 2022, with its PC release arriving in March 2025.

A gentle glide through contaminated waters in need of tender care

Spilled! is as laid-back and unhurried as they come. At its heart is a small solar-powered boat—the sole tool you’ll depend on as you drift across increasingly expansive, cluttered, and lively zones.

Eight unique areas unfold, each introducing larger oil slicks and fresh kinds of debris. Spilled! takes you through diverse biomes, where two hidden animals await rescue in every one, totaling 16 creatures you’ll save along the way.

The objectives are refreshingly simple: nudge plastic toward recycling bins, douse fires along the shorelines, rinse oil from nearby land, or simply use your hose to summon snow where it’s needed.

Your boat also doubles as a magnet for submerged oil drums and deploys a boom to gather floating bottles. Every action feeds into a quiet economy—cleaned waste becomes coins, which unlock upgrades to expand your storage, broaden your oil suction, or fine-tune speed and maneuverability.

At its core, Spilled! is about steering a tiny boat along serene waterways and rescuing biome-specific wildlife. Yet its true magic lies in its visual style and atmosphere. The art is among the most stunning in any calming game, and the ambient sounds and music draw you effortlessly into its world.

The game is now live on the Google Play Store. It’s a single-player experience—you can explore the first three zones for free, with the full game available via a single in-app purchase.
