Serial Cleaner, the quirky crime-scene cleanup puzzler, is making a comeback! Originally released in 2019, this title is returning to mobile platforms. Will it be a refined re-release or simply a modernized port? Only time will tell.

The game plunges players into the gritty, yet comical, 1970s. As Bob Leaner, you'll tackle the messy aftermath of mob violence, disposing of bodies, cleaning bloodstains, and erasing all evidence – all while dodging watchful police officers.

Our previous review (2019) described the original Serial Cleaner as "half-baked but with potential." Developer Plug-In Digital is now handling publishing, aiming to give this puzzle-action game a second chance on mobile.

A Retro Revival?

Pre-registration is open, with a planned release date of February 11th, 2025. The extent of the improvements remains uncertain. While a polished update would be welcome, given the time elapsed since the initial launch, significant changes might be optimistic.

The core concept of Serial Cleaner remains undeniably captivating. However, a simple mobile re-release dampens expectations somewhat. Nevertheless, Android users who missed out, or those experiencing compatibility issues with older iOS versions, might find this a welcome addition to their mobile game library.
