Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta: Hunt Begins Next Week!

Open Beta Access: October 28th (PS Plus), October 31st (All)

The October 23rd showcase revealed the open beta's launch dates. PS5 players with PlayStation Plus get early access starting October 28th, while everyone else (PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC) joins the hunt from October 31st to November 3rd. Cross-play is fully enabled throughout the beta period.

Pre-download begins October 27th for PS Plus members and October 30th for others. Ensure you have at least 18GB of free space available.

What Awaits in the Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta?

The open beta features character creation (with progress carrying over to the full game!), a story trial (tutorial and Chatacabra hunt), and a challenging Doshaguma hunt (multiplayer enabled with NPC support).

All beta participants receive exclusive in-game rewards (Palico pendant, Seikret, item pack) redeemable as DLC upon the full game's release on February 28, 2025.

New Trailer: The Black Flame and the Oilwell Basin

The "Black Flame" trailer introduces the Oilwell Basin, a dynamic fire-filled locale with new monsters adapted to its harsh environment: the Ajarakan and the Rompopolo.
