Fortnite players eagerly awaited Cyberpunk 2077 items, and the collaboration finally arrived to much fanfare. However, the absence of the male version of protagonist V sparked debate among fans. Patrick Mills, Cyberpunk 2077's loremaster and the decision-maker, explained the omission. The bundle was designed for only two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. With Johnny already male, selecting the female V was a practical choice, further influenced by Mills' personal preference.
