Dead Island 2's Patch 6 introduces thrilling new gameplay options, including a challenging New Game Plus (NG+) mode and a fresh horde mode, "Neighborhood Watch." This update significantly enhances the zombie-slaying experience.

New Game Plus and Enhanced Zombie Threats

NG+ allows players to replay the entire game with increased difficulty, retaining their leveled-up character, inventory, and three extra skill slots. A higher level cap, new weapons and skins, and formidable new enemies—the Revenants—await. These Revenants are described as more powerful Apex zombies with enhanced abilities, promising a significantly heightened challenge. To counter this, all weapons in NG+ are more potent than their base-game counterparts, with a greater number of fixed-rarity weapons to discover.

Neighborhood Watch: A New Horde Mode

The new Neighborhood Watch mode blends horde and tower defense elements. Players defend their base over five in-game days, spending the first four repelling waves of zombies while completing objectives to earn valuable gear.

Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition and Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Cosmetic Pack

The Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition is now available, bundling the base game, story expansions ("Haus" and "SoLA"), and a new cosmetic pack from Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. This pack includes the Memories of Banoi, Golden Weapons, Pulp Weapons, Red’s Demise packs, and all six Slayer’s Premium Skin Packs. The update offers a substantial boost to replayability and overall content for Dead Island 2 players.
