"Deadlock Update: Calico Nerfed, Sinclair Reworked"
Valve continues to keep the Deadlock community engaged with their latest update, which, though small, brought significant changes to four heroes.
Calico faced a substantial nerf: her Return to Shadows ability saw its cooldown extended by ten seconds, with 20% of its speed shifted to T2. Additionally, the damage output from T2 Leaping Slash was decreased, impacting her overall effectiveness in combat.
Sinclair, on the other hand, received a visual and functional overhaul. His animations and sounds were updated, and his Rabbit Hex ability was transformed into an Area of Effect (AoE) skill, potentially altering his role in team strategies. Both Holliday and Wraith also experienced nerfs, though specifics on these changes were not detailed.
The update didn't stop at heroes; items were also tweaked. Ammo Scavenger now provides fewer stacks and no longer offers a health bonus, reducing its utility. Similarly, Extra Stamina and Restorative Shot lost their bonuses to Fire Rate and Weapon Damage, respectively, which could affect player builds and strategies.
