Valve continues to deliver regular updates to Deadlock, despite abandoning a fixed update schedule. The latest patch isn't huge, but it's far from insignificant, addressing balance issues across multiple heroes. A comprehensive list of changes can be found on the official forum.

Following the January 18th introduction of four new heroes, swift balance adjustments were implemented. Holliday's Crackshot ability now affects units, halving its cooldown in those instances. Calico's Ava ability has been enhanced to destroy objects during its activation.

The update also refined existing heroes: Kelvin received a health boost (600 to 650), while Vendicta's bullet speed (reduced from 810 to 740) and movement speed (nine to eight) were decreased. In total, eleven heroes, including the newcomers, received targeted balance changes.

Deadlock remains in closed beta, boasting a consistently healthy online player count fluctuating between 7,000 and 20,000 players.
