Delta Force Mobile Pre-Orders Launch
Delta Force, previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, is now open for pre-registration on iOS and Android. This Tencent-developed title, launching late January 2025, marks a significant entry into the modern military shooter market, offering diverse missions and tactical gameplay.
The Delta Force franchise, a cornerstone of FPS gaming predating Call of Duty, is known for its realistic combat, advanced gadgets, and authentic weaponry. Level Infinite's revival stays true to this legacy. The game features Warfare mode (large-scale battles), Operations mode (extraction-style gameplay), and a single-player campaign inspired by the Battle of Mogadishu (and the film Black Hawk Down) coming in 2025.
Addressing Cheating Concerns
Despite high anticipation, Delta Force has faced controversy regarding its approach to combating cheaters. Tencent's aggressive anti-cheat measures, while aiming to eliminate cheating, have drawn criticism for their potentially overly restrictive nature on the PC version. While the impact on the mobile release remains to be seen, these concerns may deter some players. However, the inherent challenges of cheating on mobile platforms offer a potential advantage.
