While Halloween may be over, the *Diablo 4* Season 7 witching season is just beginning! This guide will help you quickly level up in this new season.

Get Your Pet

Upon starting *Diablo 4* Season 7, visit the nearest town's Wardrobe. Claim your pet! While it doesn't fight, it automatically collects gold and materials, saving you valuable time.

Grab Your Mercenaries

If you own the *Vessel of Hatred* expansion, recruit mercenaries from the Den. Solo players can have two, significantly easing leveling and combat while building Rapport for extra rewards.

Follow the Seasonal Questline and Level Up

Begin on Normal difficulty and follow the green leaf icons on your map. The seasonal questline introduces new mechanics like Headhunt zones, Grim Favors (for the Tree of Whispers), and Witch powers. Farming Favors in Headhunt zones is the most efficient way to reach level 60, simultaneously leveling Witch powers.

Unlock Your Class Power

Previously completed class-specific priority quests from other characters (on the Eternal realm) automatically unlock your class power upon reaching the required level in Season 7.

Headhunt Zones

Focus on smaller, denser Headhunt zones for faster mob farming and Whisper completion. Prioritize "Fugitive Shepherd" (escorting animals) and "Fugitive" (defeating Elites and interacting with roots) Whispers. Trade 10 Grim Favors for a cache at the Tree of Whispers or with the Raven found in each Headhunt zone.

Witchcraft Powers

Purchase and upgrade Witchcraft powers at the Tree of Whispers using Restless Rot (obtained from Rot enemies). Prioritize damage upgrades. Forgotten Altars (found in dungeons, Nightmare Dungeons, Pits, and Rootholds at Torment 1, or increased chance with a Draught of Whispers) offer unique Witch powers.

Rootholds

Access Rootholds (rogue-lite dungeons) using Whispering Woods (from Whispers and Silent Chests). Activate modifiers for improved loot. Torment 1 Rootholds are the best source of Ancestral loot.

Occult Gems

Craft Occult Gems (superior to regular gems) with Gelena at the Tree of Whispers using Restless Rot and Heads (dropped by Roothold bosses and Fugitives; Draught of Whispers increases drop chance). Focus on these in the late game.

Pits, Infernal Hordes, and Nightmare Dungeons

Continue farming Pits (for Glyph leveling), Nightmare Dungeons (for Glyphs), and Infernal Hordes (for masterworking materials for Uniques).
