How to Find the Cat Island in Assassin's Creed Shadows

To embark on this feline adventure, you'll need to journey to the Omi region, which you'll reach around the midpoint of the story. Ensure your characters are well-equipped and ready for the challenges ahead. Head northeast to locate Omi.

Your destination is Lake Biwa, the expansive body of water central to the region. For the smoothest journey, it's highly recommended to secure a boat. You can find one in the settlements of Azuchi or Omizo, or you can opt to swim across the lake.

Aim for the larger island in the middle of Lake Biwa, just northwest of Azuchi. Upon arrival, you'll discover Okishima Island, which features a Kakurega for resting. You'll notice plenty of fish being dried near the docks, a sure sign that this island is home to a particular type of animal.

To be surrounded by cats, head north towards the Leap of Faith. As you ascend, you'll encounter more and more cats. Don't miss the chance to pet them, especially the rare kittens, which can be added to your collection for use in the Hideout.

While Leaps of Faith typically unlock new map locations, the true treasure on Okishima is your new feline companions. After exploring and landing in the haystack, there isn't much else to do except enjoy the company of the cats. You'll also return to Okishima later in Yasuke's story, so keep that in mind for future visits.
