Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio Celebrates Like A Dragon's 20th Anniversary

Vote for Your Favorite Like a Dragon Merchandise! (Until March 21, 2025)

Get ready to celebrate! Like A Dragon (LAD) turns 20 in December 2025, and Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studios is kicking off the festivities with a unique fan-voting project. You get to choose which in-game items will be transformed into real-world merchandise!

Over 100 items are up for grabs, ranging from the unexpected (lingerie, incense, mahjong tiles) to the iconic (Kiryu's dragon mask, a karaoke microphone, even 20th-anniversary sake!). The most popular item, as determined by your votes, will be produced and released within the next two years.

Voting runs from February 8th to March 21st, 2025. You can vote once per day. Following the voting period, RGG will release a survey to help determine the final design of the winning item.

Could More Yakuza Remakes Be on the Horizon?

RGG Studio first hinted at their 20th-anniversary plans in a December 8th, 2024, Twitter (X) post, marking their 19th anniversary. Director and Executive Producer Masayoshi Yokoyama expressed his gratitude to fans and teased upcoming events and announcements.

The 20th-anniversary celebration begins with the release of Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on February 20th, 2025. While details on further events remain scarce, the studio's 10th-anniversary celebration—which included the announcement of Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami remakes—offers a tantalizing glimpse of what might be in store. Fans are eagerly anticipating more exciting news.

Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza In Hawaii PC Requirements

Recommended Specs Are Easily Achievable

RGG Studio announced the PC requirements for LAD: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii on February 10th, 2025, via Twitter (X). The recommended graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent, making the game accessible to most modern gaming PCs.

With releases planned for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the PC specifications are relatively undemanding. RGG Studios has also confirmed Steam Deck verification.

SEGA recently released a story trailer on YouTube, showcasing Majima's high-seas adventure narrated by Pirate King Raymond Law, voiced by wrestling superstar Samoa Joe.
