Players embody Psaro, a young man cursed by his father, the Master of Monsterkind, rendering him incapable of harming monsters. To lift the curse, Psaro embarks on a journey to become a Monster Wrangler, teaming up with creatures to ascend the ranks and potentially claim his father's title. Fans of Dragon Quest IV will recognize Psaro as the game's antagonist, but this title reveals his backstory.
The game unfolds in Nadiria, a world where dynamic weather and seasonal changes impact gameplay. Recruit, train, and fuse over 500 unique monsters, ranging from adorable to bizarre, with the weather influencing monster appearances.
