Nexon’s flagship franchise, Dungeon & Fighter, is expanding with a new entry: Dungeon & Fighter: Arad. This isn't your typical Dungeon & Fighter experience; instead of the series' signature side-scrolling action, Arad is a 3D open-world adventure.

First revealed with a teaser trailer at The Game Awards, Arad showcases a vibrant world and a diverse cast of characters, many of whom appear to be familiar classes from previous Dungeon & Fighter games, reimagined for this new setting.

The game promises open-world exploration, dynamic combat, and a wide array of character classes. A strong narrative focus is also highlighted, featuring new characters, engaging interactions, and the inclusion of puzzles.

Beyond the Familiar Dungeons

The teaser trailer leaves much to the imagination. However, the overall aesthetic suggests a formula similar to games popularized by MiHoYo. While the visuals are impressive, Arad’s significant departure from the core Dungeon & Fighter gameplay might concern longtime fans. Nevertheless, Nexon’s significant marketing push, including prominent advertising at The Game Awards, signals high hopes for the game's success.
