Elden Ring arrives on the Nintendo Switch 2 with its Tarnished Edition, bringing fresh content from FromSoftware, including new character classes and updated looks for Torrent.

Famitsu reported on the "FROMSOFTWARE GAMES EVENT Spring 2025" held in Tokyo on May 6, where new details emerged about Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, spotlighting two additional character classes.

According to RPG Site’s translation, the new classes are "Knight of Ides" and "Heavy Armored Knight." Limited details were shared beyond their names and appearances. These classes come with two of the four new armor sets in the Tarnished Edition, with the others unlockable in-game. New weapons and skills were also hinted at.

For fans of Torrent, the spirit horse gains three new visual styles. This content is included in Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, which bundles the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. FromSoftware confirmed the new content will also launch on other platforms via the Tarnished Pack DLC, priced affordably, per RPG Site.
