- Open the Konsole from the Start menu.
- Set a password if you haven't already by typing the command
passwdand entering your desired password. - Enable SSH by entering
sudo systemctl start sshd. To make SSH start automatically after reboots, typesudo systemctl enable sshd. - With SSH enabled, you're now ready to remotely access your Steam Deck's data using any third-party SSH client.

If you're using a Linux PC, no additional software is needed. Simply open your file manager and navigate to sftp://deck@steamdeck in the address bar. Enter the password you set earlier to establish the connection.
