Earlier today, Iwan reported on Rookidee’s spotlight during August’s Community Day. Now, we’re diving into even bigger news—literally and figuratively. On August 23 and 24, the highly anticipated Pokémon Go Fest 2025: Max Finale will unfold.

Let’s start with the main attraction. The legendary Pokémon from Sword and Shield, Eternatus, will debut globally, giving players everywhere a chance to catch this colossal Pokémon for their collections.

Now, about the event itself. On August 23 and 24, a lineup of Gigantamax Pokémon will appear in sequence, presenting one of the toughest challenges in Pokémon Go yet. Expect to battle Toxtricity, Butterfree, Snorlax, Gengar, and Lapras in Max Raids.
